From Chris Bergson's online newsletter:
As summer (finally!) kicks into gear, the Chris Bergson Band returns to Rodeo Bar this Thursday, July 9th. Margaritas and cold beer taste much better when it isn’t raining outside, so be sure to make it out. It’s their last show in town before traveling to Syracuse to perform at the New York State Blues Festival this weekend - all the details are below.
I am also thrilled to announce that the Chris Bergson Band will return to Woodstock to open for the Levon Helm Band on Saturday, September 5th at Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble. Rolling Stone calls the Midnight Ramble "an intimate all-star concert” and past performers have included Elvis Costello, Dr. John, Emmylou Harris, Allen Toussaint, and Garth Hudson among others. It’s an easy two and a half hour drive from NYC and well worth the trip. These special house concerts tend to sell out far in advance, so get your tickets now exclusively through www.levonhelm.com

You Tube I also wanted to mention that additional footage from the band’s tour of the Netherlands has been posted on YouTube including great versions of “Are You Experienced?”, “Three Sisters” and “High Above the Morning”. Please check ‘em out and feel free to rate the videos and leave your comments.
