Tony Leone (Ollebelle) performing "Holy Cow."

Ollebelle's drummer & co-lead singer Tony Leone recently performed w/ Levon Helm @ NJ's Wellmont Theater on Holy Cow. This is a great tune written by Allen Toussaint & recorded by The Band on Moondog Matinee back in the early'70s. Great tune. Leone hails from a Hartford, CT suburb, performs w/ Helm, Ollabelle & the Chris Bergson Band. He is an extremely cool talent.

Remembering Richard Manuel today...

We sadly lost Richard Manuel (The Revols, The Hawkes & The Band) in '86 @ the age of 42. He had such a soulful voice & was a multi-talented instrumentalist (piano & drums). We would have love to have met him as he seemed to have much to say even though he was not the most interviewed band member. This photo is by famed Woodstock photopgrapher Elliott Landy.
Too soon gone.
