The Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist would have turned 57 today. He passed away in '90.
Aerosmith back in the saddle!
After a brief lull w/ postponed shows due to a strained leg frontman Steven Tyler suffered during the Mohegan Sun (CT) show, Aerosmith was back in the saddle Thursday, July 16th in Atlanta.

Musician & producer John Simon joins Levon Helm tonight.
John Simon will be the opening act for this evening's Levon Helm Midnight Ramble. John is a great man as we met him almost one year ago. He has deep musical roots as both a performer & producer with The Band, Janis Joplin & many others. Tonight is a special night & we wish we could be there.

Robbie Robertson's (The Band) son, Sebastian, is celebrating his b'day today. Sebastian has been hard @ work on his father's official facebook & myspace pages, as well as The Band facebook page. Sebastian owns his own children's music production firm.
