R. I. P. Bob Harding, founder of Meadowbrook venue.

From WMUR Channel 9 website:

GILFORD, N.H. -- The man who turned a field in Gilford into the Meadowbrook musical pavilion has died.
Bob Harding died Tuesday evening of cancer at age 65.
Meadowbrook opened as a concert venue in 1996 with a temporary stage, 2,500 folding chairs and room for about 2,000 lawn guests. Today, the Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion has a permanent stage, a covered seating area for 3,097, plus 3,400 lawn seats.
In May, when announcing this season's concert tour, Harding said he was proud of what the business had become.
Friends and colleagues said his top concern was making sure concert-goers had a good experience at Meadowbrook.

Steven Tyler makes two young boys' day.

We could not attend yesterday's BBQ we purchased tix for a function near Pleasant Lake (Elkins, NH) & so we left them @ the Georges Mills Store for someone to enjoy. Steven stopped into the store & autographed those same two tix for two young boys & made their day. Cool story.

Steven Tyler & Joey Kramer in Sunapee, NH!

Special thanks to the two Aerosmith rockers as Steven participated in our small town July 4th parade & Joey spoke w/ us about our female Weimaraner. Very gratious celebs who are sought often by starstruck fans. Steven has been a longtime Sunapee resident & we always love it when he returns.

Happy 100th Ramble to Levon Helm & Helmland.

Last night was the 100th Midnight Ramble @ 160 Plochmann Lane in Woodstock, NY @ Levon Helm's barn/residence & his Helmland crew - an amazing feat. If you haven't caught a Ramble yet, it's definitely a bucket list item.
