Rick Danko's (The Band) older brother's obituary...too soon gone!
DANKO,Maurice "Jr" of RR#6, Simcoe passed away on January 19, 2010 at the age of 69. Jr was husband and best friend of Joyce (Howick) for 49 years. He was Dad to Lori, Maurie (Julie) and Sue Gangell (Jon), and proud grandma to Katie Gangell, Jonas and jackson Danko, brother to Dennis and Terry. Jr was predeceased by his parents Maurice (Tom) and Leola and brother Rick. Jr will be greatly missed by many relatives and friends. At Jr's request cremation has taken place with a private interement at a later date. If so desired donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
