I remember accompanying Levon when he was chosed to be the Narrator @ the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame's Tribute to Jimmy Rogers.
He spoke in his Arkansas twang about Jimmy & intro'd all the stellar performers - " You can look it up " as Casey Stengel liked to say,,, Jimmy Rogers was an American original so it was fitting that another American original - Levon Helm - was the voice of his Tribute.
